The interior of Vhooda (the name is derived from that of the Mayan god of feast) is made to look like a Mayan temple with stone moldings and an imposing carved stone foyer. A large aquarium provides the backdrop for an entire room, separating diners with a wall of water and sealife. If all the Indiana Jones-like trappings have you in the mood for exploring, don't let the menu stop you. Alligator nuggets, Yucatan shrimp, jerk pork chops and fish tacos will keep you in an adventurous frame of mind. Vhooda also offers up steaks, burgers (with sweet potato fries), seafood entrées and vegetarian specialties. In short, the god of the feast is well represented. A healthy cocktail menu---30 signature drinks---makes sitting at the large, granite bar a good prelude to a spicy meal.
