THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED VinTabla Restaurant Review:
THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED VinTabla encourages guests to “sip,” “share” and “savor.” And with an eclectic menu coupled with a creative wine list, it’s easy to do all three. Chef Bruce Yim and master sommelier Laura Williamson, one of the country's only female master sommeliers, truly know their stuff. Williamson circulates through the modern, curvaceous dining room sharing her passion and knowledge for wine with her guests. Her innovative roster offers “Juicy and Lush” and “Silky and Refined” reds or “Creamy and Soft” and “Bubbles & Cheer” whites. Yim’s menu explores the world. The meze plate starter, for example, parades an assortment of small bites, including the light eggplant caviar; rich and garlicky hummus; a sprinkle of feta and a medley of lush olives, all meant to be scooped up with toasted flatbread. For dinner, we recommend the whole fish lightly fried in a tempura batter or the rich and savory Asian-spiced duck confit. Can’t make up your mind? Try the nightly three-course dinner special. Wine pairings are extra.
