This quick-serve deli in the heart of downtown is bright and spotlessly clean, if somewhat lacking in any real character. It’s cheerfully decorated, and the huge windows give you a front row seat to some of the best street theater in town, and a good view of the nearby Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum as well. It’s reasonably priced, and the menu covers all the bases. Early-morning breakfasts range from a muffin and coffee to bacon-and-egg platters. At lunch, whether you’re dining in of doing take-out, choices are endless. The salad bar offers 50 items including hot pastas; baked potatoes and all the fixin’s, a taco stand and crusty rolls. The deli-wich counter makes both meat and vegetarian sandwiches to order: if you’re really hungry, try the house’s corned beef and pastrami. The offerings at the soup-and-half-sandwich stand change daily.
