THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED White Onion Restaurant Review:
While its elder sister the Red Pepper in Maida Vale concentrates on pizza and pasta, the White Onion is somewhat upscale market in its approach. Crisp linen underscores the theme for largely Mediterranean dishes like guinea fowl with pancetta, grilled vegetables and salsa or steamed brill with a somewhat old-fashioned cream and wine sauce. Cooking is generally good, dishes delivering as promised. Service is efficient to the point of being intrusive. Theres a Saturday set 2-course lunch at £12.50 and 3 courses £14.50, and on Sunday main meals are 2 courses for £15, 3 courses for £19.50.
