Winston’s is a neighborhood place, providing good value for families and locals. The menu runs from salads to steaks and seafood, in portions that are more than enough to fill even the most famished. The Reuben sandwich is outstanding, homemade chili good and the chicken wings are first-rate. The half-priced steak dinner on Tuesday is one of the city’s best deals: a 12-ounce rib-eye steak comes with salad, a side dish and bread for under $10.
