19 Kitchen Bar Restaurant Review: On the 19th floor of Harveys Lake Tahoe Casino & Resort, 19 Kitchen Bar delivers solid, often whimsical fare. Lettuce wraps arrive with tiny portions of pot sticker sauce, Chinese mustard and chili oil, so diners can create their own dipping sauces. The scallop, asparagus and spinach risotto is a creamy first course, and lobster corn chowder is rich goodness. The "surf and turf 19" is pricey (at $72), but is a decadent combination of petite filet, short ribs, seared scallops and Australian lobster. Diners can indulge their inner child with complimentary cotton candy after dinner, or peanut butter squares matched with a white chocolate baton and a beaker of milk. Also providing appeal: the chocolate color scheme, fixtures that mimic giant tortoise shells and panoramic, 19th floor lakefront views.
