75 Main Restaurant Review: A relaxed dining room and, in the summer, a fun, nightlife feel coexist at 75 Main. In fair weather, the restaurant offers outdoor tables where diners can people-watch on the venue’s namesake street. Starters include local seafood like crab cakes and little neck clams, and a few Italian-influenced items, such as stracciatella soup and fritto misto. You’ll also find a few dishes with a more international flair, like crispy shishito peppers paired with Mecox cheese or even a fusion tuna crudo with crispy pork belly, smoked chili aïoli and capers. Mains range from a prime truffle burger and grilled swordfish to a large variety of pastas including spinach and ricotta stuffed gnocchi and rigatoni with mixed meat ragù. The “healthy” section of the menu offers a handful of choices. A tasting menu, available for the entire table only, can be ordered in five-, seven- or ten-course options, with a five-course vegetarian menu as well. The wine list has old-world and new-world selections, with an emphasis on French regions. After dinner, be sure to check out the lively atmosphere of the lounge.
