 Vodka purveyors Absolut started their Icebar concept at the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden, and later brought it to Stockholm, London and even the Mojave Desert (the latter as an understandably temporary outpost). The interior is kept at a frosty temperature of -5°C and features sculptures carved from ice blocks sourced from the Torne River in northern Sweden. It's recommended to make reservations in advance for a tour, which includes a cape and gloves to ward off the chill (request a double cape if you want to snuggle up with a date), as well as an Absolut Vodka cocktail served in a glass made of ice.
