THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Agave Underground Restaurant Review:

After going downstairs and wondering if you're in the right place, you'll see a waterfall flowing down a brick wall in the outside courtyard. Inside, mango-colored walls, high black booths and small tables give this little gem of a restaurant a sophisticated air. The food is always fresh and deliciously simple. Start with lip-smacking roasted corn chowder. Sample the delicate ceviche (served in a martini glass) and chipotle crab cakes. Move on to flavorful shellfish stew, guava-glazed rack of lamb or hazelnut-ancho chile-crusted snapper. Our favorite desserts are creamy coconut flan and fluffy mango cheesecake. A small wine list features Spanish and Chilean wines but the drinks of choice here are tequila-based. The great news (and the bad news) is that this restaurant is never crowded.
