| Tucked into Arlington Square Shopping Centre, Alex’s Bistro has been drawing diners for more than two decades. The French-born chef Alex Gosetto creates seasonal menus so there’s always something new, like the weekly Wednesday German dinner special. Of course, you won't be disappointed if you opt for favorites like beef burgundy, spaghetti bolognaise or lobster risotto, either. Crêpes are a specialty, and they're served hot, bubbly and casserole-style, brimming with shrimp or chicken. Speaking of bubbly, why not accompany your meal with one of the six different Champagnes? Gosetto relies on hormone-free meats, free-range chicken and veal as well as organic produce. For dessert, we suggest the crème brûlée, chocolate mousse or bananas Foster crêpes. Mirrored walls, dim lights, brass railings and light fixtures, paintings by French artists and white tablecloths add to the Parisian feel. |
