'Ama 'Ama Restaurant Review: Thanks to renowned local chef Kevin Chong, 'Ama 'Ama’s modern as well as classic dishes are given a twist using all-local ingredients wherever possible. At lunch, try the kalua pulled pork sliders on steamed rice buns to get a taste of a Pacific Rim comfort food favorite --- manapua. Seafood is clearly the star at dinner, and it's always good to go with the sustainable chef’s choice catch of the day served in ceviche as an appetizer or entrée. Consider as well the hearty Châteaubriand prix-fixe for two. House-made desserts include lemon grass crème Catalana. There is a full bar and a nice wine selection for discriminating palates.
