| If you've got out-of-town guests and need a relaxing and unusual getaway, hop a ride on the Rivership Romance and take a low-key lunch cruise most days or a Sunday dinner cruise up the beautiful St. John's River. It's ideal for all ages---kids like exploring the compact ship, adults can relax on deck with a pair of binoculars and watch for gators, birds, even manatees in the wintertime. When you board, you're seated at comfortable booths in the indoor dining room and given a choice of dependable entrées: chicken, fish, pork, beef or vegetables gratin. On Sundays, there's an all-you-can-eat, all-American buffet brunch. Skip the ordinary desserts for a relaxing view from the top deck. It's about a three-hour round-trip (the ship turns around in a wide spot on the St. John's) and when you disembark you'll feel like you've been worlds away from Central Florida. |
