Young families and sun-kissed jet-setters pack the fashionable, upscale Amici's for some of the island's finest northern Italian cooking. The roast duck and the thick veal chop Milanese are excellent menu mainstays. The seafood risotto was perfectly al dente, dense and rich, yet not gummy. All pasta is handmade on the premises. Hearth-fresh pizzas, baked in the wood-fired oven, compete with eye-catchingly displayed antipasti as light-meal options. Affordability is a draw, but this is not a lightweight establishment. Its steady torrent of discriminating Palm Beachers makes reservations a must.
