| The caféteria-style format belies the complexly seasoned and delicious Palestinian food served here. Crispy cumin-scented falafel and tender shwarma in pillow-soft pita are the best of the genre, especially when anointed with shatta, a fiery hot sauce. Wonderful salads, daily soups, grilled shish kebabs with vegetables and saffron rice are not to be missed. A honey-dripping diamond of baklava is just one more jewel. |
