Atlantic Fish Restaurant Review: If you thought Atlantic Fish was more of a tourist trap, think again. Locals in the know flock here as well for some of the city's best (and freshest) seafood dishes. This upscale Back Bay restaurant features classic raw bar staples along with appetizers like lobster ravioli with shiitake mushrooms in a basil cream sauce. Pair a glass of Pinot Grigio with a cup of sea bass chowder or fish stew before moving on to a generous portion of tuna tartare. While lobster (prepared fra diavolo style, boiled, or tossed lightly with mayo for a fresh lobster roll) and crab dishes have their own section on the menu, specialties abound with fried captain's platters, pan-seared sea bass and sautéed swordfish piccata. Meat lovers can nosh on a ten-ounce filet mignon, 14-ounce New York strip, or a "carpetbagger" with fried oysters and shallot sauce. Round it all off with a heaping slice of peppermint stick ice cream pie with rich chocolate ganache.
