Au Bon Pain Restaurant Review: Au Bon Pain's sandwiches and salads are made with a colorful array of fresh, healthful ingredients. There’s even a build-your-own option if the menu doesn’t tempt, but it’s hard to believe it would not, given selections such as grilled chicken and avocado on a toasted baguette made with apple wood-smoked bacon, tomatoes and mesclun, which is dressed with a Dijon and blue cheese dressing. There’s a classic chicken salad on country white bread, too, topped with cranberries, almonds, tomatoes and mesclun. All calorie counts are listed on the menu. The bakery produces desserts such as pound cake and cinnamon rolls, and the hot coffee is a reason to visit in and of itself. |
