Aunt Emma's Pancakes Restaurant Review: Aunt Emma's is a throwback to the 1950s: all-American buttermilk pancakes head up the long list of old-fashioned breakfast treats, but if we're feeling wicked, we opt for sweet-tart German crêpes spritzed with lemon and dusted with powdered sugar. When the mood is cosmopolitan, it's the blintz-like Manhattan cakes, filled with tangy sour cream. Eggs, omelets and a full selection of salads and sandwiches round out the menu, offered daily until the 3 p.m. closing. But remember --- it's always pancake time at Aunt Emma's. |
