Beach House Restaurant’s commitment to organic meat and sustainable seafood has been its hallmark since its debut in 2005. The tasteful, intimate setting features a Tudor cabinet-style bar and embossed gold chandeliers. Oysters and clams from the raw bar may start a meal. We like the crispy duck confit served with roasted beets and apples in a balsamic glaze, and grilled octopus with marinated gigandes beans in a black olive vinaigrette for sharing. Large plates offer well-executed options like a coffee-roasted rack of lamb that yields complementary flavors, and a steelhead salmon filet with tropical fruit notes. Don't neglect dessert: a tried and true warm berry tart and a delicate passion fruit Pavlova specialty bring the harvests of the season center stage.
