The Capital Grille Restaurant Review:

An outpost of the Washington, DC mover-and-shaker meat mecca, this 42nd Street steakhouse is not much different than its DC sister. Well-quaffed gents sporting power ties get cozy in the plush booths while diving into large cuts of meat. But you don't necessarily have to be a power player to enjoy the kona-crusted dry-aged sirloins, steak au poivre with a Courvoisier cream sauce, and lamb chops (though it might be good if you had a CEO's expense account). Even the hamburger can't escape the temptation to achieve a higher level of meatiness---it's stuffed with smoked bacon. For the non-red meat lover, the Grille offers a wide seafood selection as well (grilled swordfish with fresh asparagus, spinach, corn and tomatoes; citrus glazed salmon with a vegetable mélange; and broiled fresh lobster). One caveat: the tasty meat combined with the old money masculine décor---mounted deer heads and oversize paintings of business legends like J.P. Morgan cram the dark-wood walls---may tempt some, at least for an hour or two, to consider a hostile takeover.
