Hans' Homemade Ice Cream & Deli has been on the Orange County scene since 1972. Owner Hans Biermann still handcrafts flavors like vanilla, chocolate, mint chip, pistachio, Bordeaux cherry and Swiss orange chip each day. His wife Judy serves up the cold stuff in an old-fashioned ice cream parlor complete with Victorian-style lamps, chairs and booths. Judy also dips everything in chocolate to make frozen bananas, ice cream sandwiches and drumsticks. The ice cream menu also includes 12 specialty sundaes, floats, shakes, yogurt smoothies and ice cream sodas. The deli menu is full of sandwiches, salads and soups using topnotch ingredients and fresh breads.
