House of Blues Restaurant Review:
A thumping trilogy of food, entertainment and blues makes this one of downtown Chicago's obvious go-tos. That’s in part for the cooking --- voodoo shrimp with jalapeño cornbread, a shrimp po' boy, jambalaya and the like --- which is a good precursor to music. Not your cup of gumbo? Snag mac ‘n’ cheese topped with panko breadcrumbs or a pulled pork sammie instead. Gospel Sunday brunch is always a sell-out.
