Located at the upper corner of Montgomery County, this farm-turned-inn offers plenty of spacious and quaint dining areas, including a small bar with several tables in the building's midsection. All provide a dressy setting for the kitchen's fanciful concoctions. Consider the appetizers you might find: chilled Caribbean seafood cocktail or duck confit with a wild mushroom dip. Entrées are just as inspired and include a grilled Angus rib-eye with an Italian panzanella salad, or a potato-encrusted grouper with seasonal vegetables. Desserts range from such exotics as a Jamaican toto cake with toasted coconut ice cream to a more familiar crème brûlée with lemon ginger seasonings. Not surprisingly for this upscale setting, the restaurant offers a small but distinctive wine list in keeping with its décor and cuisine.
