Lappert's Ice Cream Restaurant Review:
This is serious ice cream for serious ice cream lovers. Rich and packed with such local ingredients as coconut, macadamia nuts, papaya, mango and more, it's a satisfying treat, whether you buy it by the dish or in a waffle cone. Coffee is also served, to heighten the buzz, and it goes well with the shortbread and chocolate chip cookies. As it is premium ice cream, it comes at a premium price, but that doesn’t deter the crowds at this locale. Lappert's Ice Cream was founded in 1983 by Kauai resident Walter Lappert, who passed away in 2003.
