The glowing Hôtel Plaza Athénée bar, decorated by Patrick Jouin, is a breathtaking blend of history and innovation. The original, carved wooden walls take on a golden hue next to the sculpted, blown-glass bar that lights up when you touch it. An adjacent lounge is well-equipped with comfortable leather club chairs and a luxurious hand-made carpet. Try the Rose Royale, the house cocktail of Champagne and fresh raspberries, or the Hibiki Iceball, a Japanese whisky served with a spherical ice cube.
