THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Radda Trattoria Restaurant Review:

An Italian food destination for grown-ups with teenage wallets, Radda Trattoria is one of Boulder's most high-profile restaurants. The wood-burning pizza oven, bustling exhibition kitchen, custom-built wine cellar housing more than 2,000 bottlings and funky furnishings custom-crafted by Boulder artisans make for a delightful sensory experience. Chefs Matthew Jansen and Don Gragg's éclat of Italian small plates---they number over 30---and main dishes are full of culinary interest. We recommend the pizzas, risottos and handmade pastas like the penne with a wild boar ragù or the risotto bolstered by lobster, saffron, lemon and chives. Try the prosciutto pizza, crowned with a still shivering, yolky egg showered with freshly ground black pepper; creamy house-made mozzarella elevates the caprese salad. Best of all, nothing on the menu costs more than $16, and you can graze on a multitude of $3, $4 and $5 small plates.
