Rasoi Restaurant Review:

Vineet Bhatia and his wife run this smart restaurant with panache. It’s in a residential area and you have to ring the doorbell to get in, but the cooking is far from formal, showing great inspiration in taste combinations. Start with smoked tandoori salmon with an herb mash and cucumber-dill raita, and move on to grilled duck with mushroom rice and lentils, a peppercorn jus, sesame duck confit and curry leaf foam. As with all top London Indian restaurants, desserts have escaped the former straitjacket to branch out with a Madras coffee cheesecake with Amaretto gel, toasted almonds and caramelized banana roll. Or just go for the sorbets and ice creams in flavors like rose petal, vanilla, pineapple and fennel. The wine list is pricey, but this is top-end dining. 2-course meal £50, 3 courses £60. Prestige Menu 7 courses £89.
