THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Ray's the Steaks Restaurant Review:

Ray's the Steaks at The Navy League is bigger, fancier and meatier than the original and very small version of the restaurant. This revised edition includes non-beef menu selections, so should you arrive not craving steak, there’s salmon, sea scallops and a jumbo crab cake to consider. However, beef in numerous different cuts reigns. Starters include a bountiful Caesar salad, crab bisque and onion soup. Then it’s on to the steaks, which include a pricey bone-in rib steak, and a Delmonico or New York strip steak, both of limited quantity because they are aged for 45 days. Look for the regular New York strip or filet mignon, too, each with assorted toppings and add-ons. Among the butcher cuts is The Blue Devil, a grilled sirloin anointed with blue cheese crumbles, red onions and garlic. Each order comes with creamy mashed potatoes and creamed spinach, but you can add a side of lobster mac ‘n’ cheese, roasted wild mushrooms or garlic-accented broccoli. There’s plenty of bread and abundant wine choices, and by the end of the meal, you may not have the slightest interest in dessert. But why not? The Key lime pie is a winner.
