THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Steamers Seafood House Restaurant Review:

If there’s one menu item that DCers relish, it has to be crabs, Chesapeake Bay crabs steamed and doused with grinds of hot pepper or dashes of pepper sauce. Summertime is best, of course, when crabbing is easy, but eating at Steamers’ Bethesda location should be a year-round occasion. Crabs, a bit pricey, make eating here a feast, and if your pocketbook can take the challenge, order the eat-all-you-can selection, mounds of steaming crabs. But if you can’t tangle with hammers and crab shells, study the menu for other options, from spicy steamed shrimp to a seafood quesadilla, burgers of varying flavors, and a crab cake platter. There’s plenty here to please both seafoodies and red-meat eaters, so don’t shy away because the name sounds so fishy. There’s a pleasant verandah, ideal for alfresco eating, and a sports bar area indoors.
