| Located in a classic 1920s brick building, this two-story bistro, long a neighborhood favorite, serves Northwest-inspired cuisine with contemporary twists. The menu is offered in an intimately lighted room filled with low couches, while an upstairs "game room" has two pool tables, a second bar and additional seating. Enjoy creative cocktails with signature appetizers such as fried mashed potatoes with a blend of smoked salmon, herbs and cheese; bacon-wrapped jalapeño peppers stuffed with cream cheese; or a flaky, layered spanakopita. For those who desire a serious meal, reasonably priced entrées include a grilled salmon filet sparked by sun-dried tomato butter. Be sure to save room for the lavender brownie frosted with creamy mascarpone and chocolate. |
