| Family-owned Bambinelli's has been feeding hungry diners in search of a sausage-and-peppers fix for more than two decades. Veal piccata with capers and lemon presents three veal scallops atop a bed of pasta with plenty of fresh mushrooms and a creamy sauce. It's not just one meal; it's three. Ignore the gnocchi and the deep-fried mozzarella sticks and target the lasagna, which is prepared in a classic American style: piled high. Stromboli and calzone add to the sandwich line-up at lunch. Pizzas are better elsewhere, so go for the pastas and chicken dishes. Choose tiramisu or house-made cannoli for dessert.
