A spin-off of nearby Chen's Gourmet, Bambu is its dressed-up, sit-down cousin. There’s classy seating, reasonable prices, and a sushi bar with chilled saké. Look for a menu replete with assorted Asian faves, from Thai chicken satay and vegetable tempura to some trendy goods, including duck rolls, seared tuna salad, and assorted Thai- and Chinese-style entrées.

Horrible Service

I discovered Bambu shortly after it opened, and was delighted to find such a selection of delicious food at reasonable prices. Sadly, Bambu is not at all what it used to be. The prices have risen, while the quality has declined; but worst of all, the service is utterly appalling. It's quite common for the waitstaff to completely ignore your existence, and even if you do manage to get their attention, they are rude and dismissive. I can only conclude that they don't really care about their customers at all, which is a shame. I've continued going to this place far too long, hoping that my experiences were flukes, but alas, this rudeness is the new norm.
