Bantam + Biddy Restaurant Review: It's all about chicken at Bantam & Biddy from owners-chefs Shaun Doty and Lance Gummere. In addition to offering regional and pasture-raised poultry and organic, seasonal vegetables, there’s an espresso bar serving Batdorf & Bronson coffee. Farm-raised eggs from a local source, routinely offered gluten-free selections even for fried chicken on Sundays, and meatloaf made from White Oak Pastures (Bluffton, Georgia) beef are all part of the pair’s philosophy. Breakfast may be enjoyed all day. A few decent wines, beers (including brews on draught) and house-made cocktails comprise the adult quaffs. A kids’ menu for children 10 and under also focuses on healthy fare. Desserts from cakes to cookies to banana pudding are made in house at the Ansley location and routed to the other outposts.
