THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Barley House Restaurant Review:

Dozens of beers from around the world; excellent, and often free, live music in the alt rock-Texas-country vein; and a bar menu that's not half bad for a place that's usually packed with folks more interested in the booze than the grub. If you've never tried, or even thought of trying, fried pickles, this is the place to do it, crispy little tart critters dipped in ranch dressing---a weird Texas treat that you need to say you've eaten at least once. The venison chili and the Aransas Burger with roasted poblano peppers are tops on the menu.
