| Local seafood is given expert pan-Asian treatments in this sophisticated locals' spot, set in a charming freestanding house at coastal dune lake's edge. Firecracker grouper is a perennial crowd pleaser, but the sushi bar features commendably fresh maki and nigiri. While Blue Mountain isn't the swankiest of the enclaves among the 13 communities that make up the Beaches of South Walton, Basmati's is a notable destination. Vegetarians have ample selections from which to choose, and the wine list is pithy but focused on seafood-friendly bottlings. |
