| Known for its Rocky Mountain-style pizza, impossibly thick-crusted pies topped with a slew of traditional and gourmet ingredients and served in round deep-dish pans, this pizza chain is a beacon for the hungry masses, little league teams and burgeoning families. If you’re not down with deep-dish pizza, the kitchen also flips thin-crusted pies. Beau Jo’s casual, Colorado-rustic atmosphere echoes the feel of the original Beau Jo’s, located in the mountain town of Idaho Springs, which teams with tourists, especially during the ski season. While pizza is the main draw, you can also poke around the sprawling salad bar loaded with the usual suspects, plus soups. Pitchers of draft beer and pie crust and honey for dessert complete the picture. |
