The Beehive Restaurant Review:

The South End's Beehive is located in the Boston Center for the Arts complex in the Cyclorama building; its striking split-level layout includes chandeliers, funky drapery and a rotating exhibition of works from local artists. The menu offers dinner plates such as steak frites and vegetarian couscous. Weekend jazz brunch mains range from the Bohemian breakfast of eggs Shakshuka with North African-style tomato sauce and polenta to poutine topped with short rib and poached eggs. Don't miss the fun (albeit pricey) cocktail menu, which includes the Bee-lini apricot nectar Champagne. There are also draft beers available in 20-ounce portions and a selection of wines from around the world. End your meal with a taste of rich maple bread pudding topped with sweet maple syrup. Head to the eclectic lower level for the night's entertainment lineup, which ranges from jazz to blues.
