| This restaurant on Main Street re-creates a low-key Italian trattoria and it does it well. With a stylishly simple décor accented with copper, wood and marble, Bella features a satisfying array of antipasti (try the fresh fish soup and bruschetta) along with the usual suspects in the pasta and (thin crust) pizza department. Whole-wheat fusilli with spinach, tomato, kalamata olives and pine nuts or with Bolognese sauce is also available. The outdoor sidewalk café is the spot for people-watching when weather permits, or cozy up to the bar, which has its own menu of smaller bites including a tasty mix of mussels, spicy sausage and peppers in marinara sauce and smaller pizzas ideal for one or two. |
