Bellizzi Restaurant Review: This festive, casual restaurant serving typical Italian fare draws in Mount Kisco locals who come for the reasonable prices and family-friendly atmosphere (a separate “Kids’ Side” keeps rising noise levels at bay). A glass front exterior with green and beige-striped awning and an animated scene within have an almost 1950s style diner feel. The menu, inspired by chef and proprietor Isi Albanese’s hometown in Reggio Calabria, features everything from homemade soups like chicken noodle and tortellini to oven-baked pizzas such as a "Bellizzi" with zucchini, roasted peppers and olives. If the mood calls for something on the meatier side, check out the chicken Parmigiana served with pasta and salad. The restaurant also offers gluten-free and kids’ menus. An array of gelati for dessert adds to the appeal.
