Berry Hill Bistro Restaurant Review: This downtown bistro delivers on its promise to serve “contemporary comfort food,” though here that doesn’t always equate with heavy. Indeed, among our favorite dishes are the warm portobello salad with pancetta and blue cheese, and the seasonal artichoke soup. Heartier dishes range from the raspberry and chipotle chicken panino to a grilled flatiron steak, but also take note of the affordable nightly specials, such as baby-back ribs accompanied by coleslaw and fries, or a pound of steamed clams served with garlic bread to mop up the sauce. All the house-made desserts are tempting, but don’t miss anything with olallieberries when they’re in season. Local wines are well represented, and there’s a full bar. |
