 What started as a trendy coffeehouse has now blossomed into a foodie hot-spot with late night dinners and topnotch desserts, so much so that owners Karen Tucker and Barbara Sutton had to knock down walls to make room for their following. Twists on traditional salads, pastas, pizzas and sandwiches (think sweet potato red pepper soup and Oriental salad with chicken, Mandarin oranges and creamy sesame dressing) and daily chalkboard specials now complement the twenty different types of coffee beans and thirty different wines available by the glass. We suggest, however, starting with dessert. Obviously, fresh biscotti is a given, but no less than thirty homemade delicacies are on display in the cold case on any given day. There's nothing better than cappuccino torte or moist, coffee-chocolate café au lait cake to get you over your work-week funk.
