THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Bistro at Bouchee Restaurant Review

: Owners Michael DeGross and Randy Miller have run a catering company in the desert for several years. Their store, with ready to microwave entrées in the freezer, gourmet items on the shelves and take-away treats at their counter, has also done a thriving business, with locals enjoying a casual, picnic-style lunch at the bare bistro tables. Now they are offering expanded hours and have transformed the place into a real American bistro at night. Curtains hide the store's display counter, while table linens and cutlery add a little (not too much) formality. A menu of first-rate comfort food is offered at very comfortable prices. Entrées include a salad or soup, as well as two side dishes. Try the braised boneless short ribs with caramelized onions, the wild Alaskan king salmon with pesto and pine nuts, and the glorious chicken potpie, which can be addictive.
