Bistro des Amis Restaurant Review: In the midst of Rice Village, enjoy true Parisian bistro fare that won’t break the bank. Consider the three-course prix-fixe dinner option, which has included wild mushroom Wellington, tender beef bourguignon (for an additional $4) and ended with a Nutella crêpe. Add a bottle of wine from the decent list, or sip one of the beers among a brief array and you’ll still pay less than what you would at most French restaurants in Houston. Even more economical is a lunch of savory crêpes and French onion soup. The menu changes often so call beforehand if you're craving something in particular. Typical of Rice Village, parking is difficult, so prepare to valet.
