Bistro Romano Restaurant Review

: With its eighteenth-century historic bones, Bistro Romano is as attractive for its ambience as for its large portions of satisfying steak and veal dishes. The tableside Caesar salad is one of the best in town. Try the homey pastas, like the ravioli stuffed with Italian sausage, broccoli rabe, Parmigiano Reggiano and ricotta cheese in a plum tomato broth with fresh radicchio. Besides the traditional Italian dishes, the crispy duck is a standout, de-boned and accompanied by Barolo wine, garlic and peppercorn sauce. For romantic nights, book an intimate table for two in the candlelit wine cellar. There's the piano bar for entertainment, often inspiring singalongs.

Excellent Dinner

My wife and I dined here last night and I must say the food was among the best Italian I have had anywhere, including NYC and Italy. We started with the Caesar Salad which was made at the table and was outstanding. Then we had two different ravioli dishes. One with Mushrooms and one with Sausage and Broccoli Rabe, both were to die for. We finished with their Tira Misu - again an excellent choice. The service was very attentive, the manager, I think his name was Anthony, even dropped by and asked how everything was and sent over a complimentary drink. We can't wait to return. :)
