With its eighteenth-century historic bones, Bistro Romano is as attractive for its ambience as for its large portions of satisfying steak and veal dishes. The tableside Caesar salad is one of the best in town. Try the homey pastas, especially the veal ravioli bolognese. Besides the traditional Italian dishes, the crispy duck is a standout, de-boned and accompanied by Barolo wine, garlic and peppercorn sauce. For romantic nights, book an intimate table for two in the candlelit wine cellar. There’s the piano bar for entertainment, often inspiring singalongs, and on weekends, a retro interactive murder-mystery dinner theater.
