THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bizu Restaurant Review:
This cozy French bistro offers new heights of romance to the Dallas area, with its soft, flattering lighting (including lots of candles) and complexion-enhancing colors. Ask for one of the cozy upholstered banquettes with floor-to-ceiling curtains shrouding them. Like the booths, the menus comforting, with familiar favorites like French onion soup, roast chicken with mashed potatoes, duck confit and dessert soufflés. Because the owner is Italian, the menu sports a pasta here, a risotto there, and it also sneaks in some touches of the chefs experience cooking in New Orleans and in Asia. Were especially nutty about the Roquefort/pear salad with its walnut vinaigrette, and the oh-so-tender lamb shank. And we always say OUI to a heaping order of the crispy fries known as pommes frites in France!
