| The Black Creek Bistro serves locally sourced fare with an easy elegance; accordingly, the menu changes based on the ingredients of season. If available, try the duck tostada appetizer or the firecracker shrimp. Of the many good options on the dinner menu, we recommend the Flintstone pork and beans, a slow-braised, fall-off-the-bone-tender pork shank, served on a bed of Danforth beans and au jus. The wine list is heavily Californian with some bottles pulled from near (Ohio) and far (Burgundy, Australia, Chile and Tuscany, among others). Save room for house-made desserts, like apple potpie. |
