The atmosphere is sleek and big city chic, and the lively Mediterranean food is presented as artistic compositions on glossy geometric china. House-made hummus, tabbouleh and an assortment of briny olives are fine openers, as is cheese boureg---phyllo stuffed with aged cheddar and mozzarella, drizzled with a balsamic reduction. Alongside well-executed classics such as falafel, there are surprises: crab cakes infused with Middle Eastern spices served with an orange gastrique; and spicy shrimp with a chipotle-roasted tomato sauce. The bar list includes a broad selection of international beers and wines and nearly 30 vodkas.
