Boca Pizzeria Restaurant Review

: Restaurants like Boca Pizzeria help raise the bar for exciting, casual dining in Marin County. This sleek spot with high ceilings, huge windows and a large outdoor patio is an officially designated destination for Neapolitan-style pizzas. The kitchen uses Italian 00 flour for its pizza dough and makes its own burrata and mozzarella cheeses, which are silky and creamy, whether eaten in a starter with roasted garlic or melted on a pie. Pizza crusts are blistered and crisp, thin but sturdy enough to support spicy salami, San Marzano tomato sauce, basil, mozzarella and Parmesan. Create your own pie from a choice of 20 toppings. Main dishes include short ribs braised with roasted squash, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and medjool dates. Among sides is a mélange of roasted Brussels sprouts with crumbles of pancetta and pecorino cheese. For dessert, try the vibrantly flavored ice creams and sorbets, made in-house. Also located at 1544 Redwood Hwy., Corte Madera, 415-924-3021 in The Village Shopping Center.
