This friendly neighborhood restaurant boasts an expansive menu, good food and ample portions. Brandy’s doesn’t put on airs; it’s the kind of place where if you come back three times, they’ll call you by your first name. Diners eat at booths, and the service is downright cheery. The house specialties are Grecian lamb chops and barbecued baby-back ribs, but a variety of chicken, beef, veal, lamb, pasta, seafood and sandwiches can be had, too. We favor the veal burger, crab cake, lake perch or Norwegian cod sandwiches as well as the good old burgers, classic veal Marsala --- veal scaloppine sautéed with mushrooms in Marsala sauce with redskin potatoes---and cedar-planked Lake Superior whitefish. There's also a happy hour bar menu, served from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. Added enticements may include a free bottle of wine night with the purchase of two entrées. Enjoy live entertainment on Friday and Saturday.
