The Bristol Bar & Grille Restaurant Review: "Bristol Classics" that have made this restaurant a local favorite for more than three decades include the filet Mandarin (soy, honey, garlic, ginger and Mandarin orange liqueur marinade), pork Dijonnaise (grilled pork loin with Dijon mustard sauce) and the steak sandwich (open-face on a grilled baguette with Henry Bain sauce). Those in the know are also perfectly happy to make a meal of appetizers including green chili wontons, artichoke fritters and fried calamari. Consider, too, the entrée-size salads such as the California Club and pastas like penne pomodoro and sweet chili linguine. All desserts, including rotating cheesecake flavors, are made in-house. An excellent value wine list and fine craft beer line-up as well as a full bar with a good bourbon list anchor the beverage selections. Located in the middle of the Museum Row on historic Main Street, Bristol Bar & Grille offers a handsome brick patio tucked away just off the sidewalk and a comfortable series of indoor dining rooms.
