BRX American Bistro Restaurant Review: Whether you spell this restaurant’s name as “BRX” or “Brix,” what you will find is a corner eatery in Great Falls that has a full wine list, a small backyard seating area, and a big brick-lined dining room. Ask about the daily specials at lunch or dinner, but know that the regular offerings won’t disappoint. We recommend the jerk chicken spring rolls to kick off the meal, before enjoying the Southwest chicken salad replete with black beans, tomatoes and shredded cheese. Dinners offer many of the same luncheon dishes, but entrées are heartier, and include the French classic seafood bouillabaisse, rainbow trout and grilled filet mignon. Weekend brunches tempt with breakfast goodies like Belgian waffles, but also include sturdier fare, such as salads and sandwiches. For dessert, go for the creamy chocolate cake, if it’s available. Want just a sweet bite? Then sample some of the mini indulgences, which are tiny portions of bourbon pecan pie and other morsels. The décor is classy, but the ambience is really neighborhood friendly.
